“MY LARRY LEGEND WORE NUMBA 2.”
Shooting this in this park meant so much to me — shoutout to Kaii immensely. When I first began to truly fall in love with the sport of basketball, Hamilton Playground was one of the outdoor courts I would constantly go to in the pursuit of gaining the handle needed to at least play power forward… that’s right. 6’3 power forward, because the rest of the YMCA team was short. Of course, I ended up playing center — the fate was inescapable regardless of how good I was. Maybe things would’ve panned out differently if I began playing ball sooner?
Anyway, it only felt right to shoot in the park given its significance to me. Way before I had the confidence to play in BBP, this was where we was at. I couldn’t want it any other way. Hadda throw on the LJ throwback too. 4 point play gonna always be a legendary moment.
